Every year, more than 800,000 young Latinos reach voting age. However, very few are registered and even fewer turn out to vote, and thus voter participation rates are far lower for this group than for other young populations in the country. To change, a national organization has launched a new campaign using the power of social networks to register and encourage this new generation of young people to vote in the November elections.
