Los Angeles County, with more than a million infected and more than 18,000 deaths, mostly Latino and African-American, is falling short in its plans to vaccinate these communities against COVID-19. In response to these shortcomings, political leaders and community organizations are bringing mobile units to their neighborhoods to clear up doubts and convince residents that the vaccine is urgent. One of these units vaccinated our correspondent in Los Angeles, Ruben Tapia, and his wife Betty. They share their experience.
