California Helps Middle Classes Buy Health Insurance

California is at the halfway point in the enrollment period for the insurance market known as Covered California. And although the state government has made health insurance compulsory, it also offered assistance to access insurance and avoid fines. The government is helping consumers request insurance until the end of January and is also providing state subsidies to put insurance policies within reach of middle-class consumers. Xiomara Peña of the Small Business Majority in Los Angeles discusses this topic with Chelis López.
