In Arkansas, Laws Protect and Restrict Immigrants

While the federal government continues to toughen immigration laws and further restrict immigrants, some states with Republican governments are attempting to walk a political tightrope on the issue. This is true in Arkansas, where DACA beneficiaries are now allowed to pay in-state college tuition rates and obtain nursing licenses, while at the same time, new legislation bans sanctuary cities in that state. Community leader Mireya Reith, from Arkansas United, discusses the situation with Samuel Orozco.
