A month after the massacre in Parkland, Florida, tens of thousands of students around the country remembered those killed by holding walkouts and taking to the streets to demand urgent gun control measures for safety in their homes and schools. In the capital, protesters marched to the White House and the Capitol, where they criticized politicians who receive money from the National Rifle Association and called for immediate action to prohibit the indiscriminate sale of assault weapons.
