On First Anniversary of New North American Trade Agreement, Disputes with Mexico Settled

To mark the first anniversary of the Free Trade Agreement between Mexico, the US and Canada, trade representatives from the three countries met this week in Mexico City. The ministers agreed that, despite the pandemic, the so-called USMCA has bolstered the economies of the member countries. However, it has also tested labor protection mechanisms. The ministers discussed two complaints filed by the United States against Mexico for labor disputes and new challenges in agriculture and energy. Citali Sáenz brings us the details from Mexico City.
