Among Spike in Infections and Clash Over Masks, Georgia Returns to Classes

Despite the rise in COVID-19 cases due to the Delta variant in states with low levels of vaccination, such as the southern state of Georgia, schools have opened their doors for face-to-face classes. However, the two school districts with the largest Hispanic presence differ in their protocols to protect teachers, students and staff from the pandemic.
