Congress Begins Impeachment Against President Trump – After months of reluctance, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi formally gave the green light to impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump. The last straw was the information, exposed by a federal agent, about a phone call in which President Trump presses the Ukrainian president to investigate his possible opponent in next year’s elections, Joe Biden, and his son. In addition, young leaders from several countries, led by Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg, filed a lawsuit with the United Nations accusing a group of industrialized countries of violating children’s rights. The incoming Mexican administration has formed a new investigative commission in which some of the students’ parents are participating. Meanwhile, in New York, the father of one of the disappeared marked the fifth anniversary with a march and rally demanding justice in front of the United Nations building.
