Young People Around the World Protest Global Warming – After testifying before Congress, prominent 16-year-old activist Greta Thunberg traveled to New York to lead an international mobilization on Friday, September 20th and Monday the 23rd to demand that governments and corporations take urgent action to stop global warming. It is estimated that more than one million young students will participate in cities such as Washington D.C., New York, Miami, Seattle and Los Angeles.
