Trump to Penalize Those Receiving Health Benefits – The Trump administration is preparing new measures that would penalize immigrants who receive tax credits for working families with children, health insurance subsidies and other non-cash benefits, expanding the definition of benefits known as “public charges.” So far, only those who receive public assistance payments are affected. The plan to penalize more people, which was leaked to the media, would affect those applying for immigration visas or green cards. Health policy analyst Sinsi Hernández-Cancio of Families USA expressed great concern about the consequences of the expected measure in a conversation with Radio Bilingüe’s Samuel Orozco.

Innovative Musicians Recreate the Sound of “Son Jarocho” – The “son jarocho” is a musical genre from Mexico’s east coast that has captivated audiences around the world with its distinctive sound mixing the harp, jarana and zapateado.
