Back-to-School Season has Some Students More Stressed than Others – This week, millions of students around the country are returning to classes amid nervousness about the end of summer vacation. That anxiety exists among students who have already begun classes as well as those who have yet to return to school. But one group of students in particular faces levels of stress and insecurity so high that that they can be compared to those experienced by sufferers of trauma. Despite Outpouring of Support, Nurse and Husband Deported and Separated from their Children – Despite broad support from her medical colleagues and direct intervention by California Senator Dianne Feinstein, and after more than 20 years in the United States, a veteran nurse in the San Francisco Bay Area was deported to Mexico with her husband and their youngest child. María and Eusebio Sánchez were denied a suspension of their deportation order, which was issued under the previous administration. The couple left behind three young daughters enrolled in school. Our reporter Fernando Andrés Torres has followed this intense family drama closely.
