Democrats Called on to Deliver on Immigration Reform –

Two weeks after the new deadline set by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to approve President Biden’s economic agenda, immigration reform remains stalled. As Democratic negotiators prepare a third proposal to the Senate Parliamentarian, which would offer temporary permits but not a route to citizenship, immigrant advocates are ramping up pressure and warn that if they Democrats do not deliver reform, they could pay for it at the polls next year.
