Línea Abierta Offers Expanded Election-Day Editions
Radio Bilingüe’s Línea Abierta will expand its coverage and analysis of the 2018 midterm election with special live programs on Election Day as well as on the eve and the day after.
The special programs will be broadcast over Radio Bilingüe’s radio airwaves and streamed online over www.radiobilingue.org on the following times:
Monday, November 5th: 11 am – 1 pm PST
Tuesday, November 6th: 11 am – 1 pm PST, 4 pm – 7 pm PST
Wednesday, November 7th: 11 am – 1 pm PST
The special programs will focus on key issues and gubernatorial, House and Senate races in battleground states, as well as ballot initiatives of special interest. Correspondents and station-based reporters will file news coverage, political observers will provide analysis on the news developments, and listeners will be encouraged to call in to share testimonies and reports.
This expanded election coverage is part of Radio Bilingüe’s “Hacia el Voto 2018,” a special series of programs covering the primaries and the general midterm election.
The series airs on Radio Bilingüe, the Latino non-profit, public radio network, which owns 14 full power FM stations in the US Southwest and an additional 70 affiliate stations around the nation.
