Celebrated Trumpet Player Takes his Jazz to Mexico and Latin America

Celebrated North American jazz trumpet player Wynton Marsalis started a tour through the Americas to celebrate the influence that the musical traditions of the Caribbean, North, South and Central America have had on jazz throughout history. As part of the tour, Marsalis and his musicians offered a clinic for music students in Cuernavaca, a city near Mexico’s capital. Raúl Silva reports.
