(Español) Tuvo una vida de activista desde los 16 años de edad, cuando organiza en su comunidad un movimiento de resistencia contra caciques locales en 1983, luego en el Valle de San Quintín, Baja California, donde organiza también a sus paisanos hasta pasar al otro lado, donde las cosas no fueron más fáciles.
