Hoy lunes 1 de Mayo tomarán lugar en todo Estados Unidos unos 200 eventos (aún en aumento), con la participación, se espera, de cientos de miles de inmigrantes, sus amigos y sus defensores, que se harán escuchar en una sola voz. El movimiento por los derechos de los inmigrantes, junto con sus aliados de la comunidad religiosa, el movimiento ambientalista, los sindicatos, la comunidad empresarial y organizaciones de mujeres enviaráun fuerte mensaje: “No admitiremos que se asigne un solo dólar a las políticas antinmigrantes de odio de Donald Trump. No toleraremos sus continuas intenciones de criminalizar a los inmigrantes ni de separar familias. Cualquier apoyo a su maquinaria de deportación es inaceptable y reprobable para los estadunidenses de buena voluntad”.
